Best iPhone Apps for Fun Travel
October 28th, 2009 by Chris | No Comments | Filed in Best of the WeekBy now, it’s pretty well known how traveling with an iPhone can benefit your overall travel experience, whether you’re planning with popular apps like Kayak Flight and Hotel Search, FlightTrack, Translate It!, Yelp and more. Oh, and finding where exactly you are with Google Earth. But what about the best apps that can make the time pass fast when you’re waiting at the airport in Puerto Rico, waiting in a rental-car line on Oahu, waiting for a table in Tahiti. Here are my top five best iPhone apps to make those travel times more fun:

Released earlier this month, this is Photoshop for the iPhone. Fantastic. I can go through my photo library and crop, adjust color, add filters, even go a little crazy with a rainbow effect if I missed capturing the real thing. Just make sure you don’t go too crazy, of course. (more…)
